UPCOMING PROGRAMS

We have had a number of requests for computing courses. Keep your eye on this page for more information or let us know your contact info so that we can keep you in the loop!

You asked us for a computer course, so we’ve actually arranged one! The course will take place on three Sundays in March from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm and be taught together by three young computer whiz’s so that there will be lots of one on one time. The cost is $60 for all three sessions, which will be scheduled as follows:

Sunday, March 14 -  Introduction to computers-Everything from how to turn your beast on to using the Microsoft office suite including word, excel, and entourage.

Sunday, March 21 – The wonders of the internet - Using our high speed internet to access the Yellowhead Regional Library special collections…audiobooks, repair manuals and more. Also accessing tv shows, u-tube videos, etc.

Sunday, March 28 – Answering your questions….What’s not working and why? Special requests?

Bring your laptop, or use the library public access computers. Pre-registration is required, because we have a limited amount of space. Call the library at 780-797-3940.
