Welcome to the Seba Beach Library

Personal service and warm hospitality help to make the Seba Beach Library special.  From tiny tots to seniors everyone is welcome.  Located in the administration building of the Summer Village of Seba Beach the library sees a dramatic increase of patrons during the summer months due to the summer village status.  Our focus in the summer is on the children’s programs.  During the quieter winter months the focus is on adult programs.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE LIBRARY!

The new year is almost upon us, and the library has made some major changes over the last few months in an effort to create a whole new look for 2010.  We’ve replaced some furniture to open up more space, and in so doing, have created a wonderful area for reading and relaxing with a good book or your laptop.  We also have four public access computers and a brand new laser printer for public use.

Our library collection, as always, is in the process of being updated with some great new material and some of your favorite classics.  If it’s not on our shelves, we’d be happy to bring it in for you from another library, whether it’s a book, a movie, or a book on CD or cassette.  If we can’t find it at another library, it’s possible to request a purchase. Whatever you’re after, we can find it for you!

Our satisfaction survey this fall asked us for some Saturday hours, so the hours of operation for the library have changed.  We’re now open on Tuesdays from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m., Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We’re hoping to see some of our summer visitors on an occasional Saturday!

The Seba Beach Public Library will be closed for a Christmas break from noon on Dec. 24 until Tuesday Jan. 5, 2010.  Have a great Christmas season….and don’t forget to come and check out our new look!
